I love simple and I love bananas.
This recipe is simply bananas!
It is Healthy, Delicious,Vegan, Gluten-Free and Affordable.
I EVEN LOVE THE WORD BANANAS!
2 frozen bananas
1 cup of water
Substitute 1 cup Coconut Milk or Almond Milk or Hemp Milk instead of water if you prefer.
If you have any pineapple or berries on hand...throw in a handful of fresh sweet pineapple chunks or berries and...ENJOY! (this is my absolute favorite smoothie. Simple and delicious.)
TIP: Always keep frozen organic Bananas in the freezer. Allow the bananas to ripen first and then peel them, cut them into chunk-size pieces, and place them on a wax paper lined tray and put them in the freezer. After they are frozen, place in a 2 ziplock bags (one on top of the other) for future use and that way the bananas stay separated and are easy to use. I use 2 ziplocks because otherwise the banana flavor permeates the entire freezer and you end up with banana flavored everything. I use bananas in almost all my smoothies. I also make banana bread. Whenever I am in line at the grocery store someone inevitably asks me "what are you doing with all those bananas?" It turns out to be quite the conversation starter!
