Vegan Blackberry Oatmeal
Super quick and easy vegan recipe that is perfect for a morning boost of protein!
you will need:
- almond milk
- blackberries (or whatever fruit you have on hand)
- almonds (or other nuts, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, etc.)
- optional: agave syrup or any other sweetener
*we made enough for 4 servings but it's really 2 servings for hungry people)
Slice up your banana!
Add oatmeal (ratio of 1/2 cup of oats to 1 cup of water. we made enough for 4 servings so we used 2 cups of oats and 4 cups of water)
When oatmeal gets to the right consistency, take it off the stove and serve it into bowls.
Add almond milk! (However much you like)
Drizzle in some peanut butter (again, however much you prefer)
Arrange sliced bananas on top of your oats, then add in your blackberries, almonds, nuts, everything! Make it look pretty :) Sprinkle cinnamon on top! Drizzle agave over if you want.
